If the driver of said vehicle had stayed on the road like he was supposed to, this thread wouldn’t exist.
So, if he can stray, why can’t we??
Repost this topic without the word Stobart in it and I bet it wouldn’t even get to 10 replies.
The ■■■■■■■■ on here at times is pathetic.

iankav,
It’s covered by Rule #3 and a bit more near the bottom of the first post in this link:
Forum rules and sanction system - WEBSITE INFORMATION - Trucknet UK
Maybe you haven’t read the forum rules, but you did ask.

You really believe that? Something like this happening to anyone else would’ve got 10 replies easy,
■■■■■■■ yawn. Yawn. ■■■■■■■ yawn.
In the interests of keeping the peace and not upsetting the Stobart fanboys and frothers (including Mike-C), I have edited my OP. (Dave, note ref to PM).
Talking of stobarts i was following two artics up m11 towards stansted . The front truck driving no problem but the second artic could not seem to make its mind up.speeding upslowing down xhnging lanes weaving.using half the hard shoulder.its only when i passed on the hill i watched her using both hands and balancing a smart phone and sending text messages.the only thing touching the steering wheel was the phone and no hands except to hold the phone in place. She wasnt wearing stobart uniform.ahe got a blast from the horn and she just looked at me dumbly and pulled onto the hard shoulder. .i just think this half wits should never be driving a artic let alone be on the road.

20 minutes is the longest so far apparentlyCome to Widnes then. You can get timed by Stobart Shunters how long it takes you to get on a bay here. And if you ask really nicely we’ll show you the post that a Lichfield driver ripped out.
Best bring a double decker to fit your ego in…
I’ve been to Tesco at Widnes before and with a decker thanks…
Are double deckers longer than ordinary trailers or in some way more difficult to manouvre ?
They are usually heavily loaded and the Tosco trunking stations are badly designed. They always have empty trailers opposite the double decker bays, and sometimes you need to turn the trailer onto the bay in 45 degrees. The wheels are pushed sideways then and this why the trailer moves away from the expected. That’s all, and, in windy conditions a bit dodgy, especially if empty.

They’re no different to a normal trailer except they’re higher and can get more of an effect from a gust of wind.
Being heavily loaded? A normal trailer will have a heavier LOAD as it has a lower net weight. They can still only gross 44t
What does having empty trailers parked opposite have anything to do with? They’re the same length as a straight frame so need the same room to manoeuvre.
You really have got to laugh ,lanky phil says bring a double decker to widnessto fit your EGO in and nothing about reversing one ,and starting with a moderator were off on a tangent of how difficult it is to reverse one, drive one .
As for we take 20/30 shunts to get on a bay,20/30 mins, last time I looked at my pay slip there was NO shunt bonus on it,doesn’t matter if I do it in 500 shunts or 1, I get paid the same,my only concern is not how many shunts I get on in,it’s just it goes on without damaging mine or any one else’s truck /tri/ building, and up till now my record is 1,000, s of bays without any damage caused,so I I.m.o.h.o I’ve got it about right.

Beetwwen the front of those empty trailers and the front of the DD-s on the bay are too short distances. So, you have no place enough to get in angle. If one of the DD bays are empty, that’s fine. Otherwise you have to stretch your susies maximally and you need to positioning your vehicle more times. Last time I called the manager and show him the footage was taken by me; I told him, I’ll send it to the Vosa, cos the tyres were nearly come off the wheels. After this, he get the trailers moved from the opposite parking bays. And, anyway;what a ■■■■■■■■ designed that place■■?

That is nothing to do with the fact it is a double decker trailer. It’s to do with the yard layout. The exact same problem would exist with a standard tri-axle trailer.
The double decker trailers do not drive differently to standard trailers.

Aww,you have done vosa’s crack squad, you know the one that sits there on high alert waiting to jump when a driver phones in to make a complaint. I mean you were gonna call them about a parking issue-inside a tesco compound(you know-where the general public are allowed ?) ?
What the ■■■■ gives you the idea that vosa would be remotely interested in whether you can reverse or not ? For ■■■■ sake.
