You could say on here you were taking home 900 a week and still you’ll be told that that’s ■■■■ and you could get more on agency/7.5 tonners/ driving a van/ filing old people’s bunions etc etc…
well im in the south and theirs plenty paying less believe me as for planners taking the ■■■■ they all do that wherever you work and people forget the benefits package life insurance maybe thats something that becomes more importent as you age but you need to be looking at the overall package as opposed to a headline rateyou can get 13 an hour but if you dont get the hours its rubbish so guys come on stop knocking stobarts and no i dont work for then but if i was looking i would apply

You’re counting 5 nights out? That means running in Saturday (or shipping out Sunday!), which should be extra overtime. And you haven’t deducted breaks.

I’ll grant you including meal allowence is a bit naughty but these days with average holiday pay you still getting ok money maritime are no better and as I said theres lots even in south east paying 500/550 ,including night out mate of mine works for a crown out of traford park blinged up trucks 550 take home includs night out money usually over 65 hours at least stobarts pay every hout

Base it on a normal week and it’s slave labour

Pretty shocking wage when compared to shelf stacking which pays more when all the damage you could do is dent a case of beans. Personally i’d jack this in tomorrow if i couldnt clear 30eur p/h…

Without wishing to enter into the debate of wether we drivers get paid enough or not, I’d like you to show me a job, where you work 40 hrs a week, home every day, with minimal qualifications, where you take home £600+ per week.
