Anyone got any information on this, could be interested even though I don’t suit green, thank you in advance.
I applied to them, working out of the Newark depot, £11+ an hour. Collect from the midlands, all new gear so it seems but they never got back to me even after me hounding them.
Been advertising for drivers to work out of hulland ward…is all i know
You mean aggregates contract ? I assume , as common rail said one of the places you’ll collect out of is Ashbourne, button under needle wood ( think that was the name , just down a38 ) was another , I did it with taut ( meant to be xet tri ) but as I had my own straps I used any tri , just go there , pull curtains back , follow forkie round yard and he loads you up , go back over road and strap it up , one strap per pall , 2 if there stacked 2 high on pall nearest headboard , then inter- dept deliver it or builders merchants types ( b& q , build base etc ,) then if you do taut job you will then pick up what’s near , could be another aggregates load , general load etc .
Job was a piece of ■■■■ but then as usual planners got involved with there 15 mins from Ashbourne - Evesham , no beaks in job , loading at 18.00 when Ashbourne , burton closed at 5 ish , one day they had me loading burton 6 am , tipping Romford 8 am , got sick of ringing driver line saying reason for delay is not given time to do job .
Money was same as normal stobart rate
Nb I did job when it started , 6 months plus ago , things may of improved in that time
It won’t last. Typical Stobartski operation. Find an established section of transport, buy a pile of trucks, and wade in undercutting the established companies to bleeding point. Then find out that running specialised transport with underpaid East European drivers who neither care, nor can, is not going to work, and fold up…

It’s the same job , your loading at the same places , aggregate industries , your just sticking the stuff on a different type of tri , what do you think all them xet tris were brought for , makes you wonder why I did that day’s induction on aig work at the depot then had too do it at all the sites , or are you suggesting I got confused and tipped my load of coca - cola at b&q reddith
Tango boy should be able too vouch for me as there was loads of them Emerson motors at bardon when I tipped there

Dozy is spot on
What? Are you saying dozy is real? Did you see him? And he didn’t crash into you??
Shocking revelation
I’m sat waiting to tip at Portsmouth covers watching a stobart unloading blocks with all the finesse of a sumo wrestler
Keeps slamming jaws in to trailer deck and his hi ab carriage won’t come fully to the front
I don’t blame the drive just rubbish equipment
Oh just noticed his nice grey cloth trainer safety boots

Any truth that they’ve already lost the aggregates contract.?

Only someone really…
Dozy could put a pack of blocks directly onto their own foot.
