Stevenson Bros Avonbridge

Has anyone worked for Stevenson Bros in Avonbridge ? Just after your thoughts ect and pros cons please

Anyone ?

I worked for them few years ago. Don’t no the money now so don’t ask. Liked it very much. Tramped for them doing paper, sawdust, bark etc. Anything that can go in a chipliner, Tipper, walkin floor. Left alone to get on with it. Decent gear, compared to what we had. Mostly walking floors and tippers now.
Scottish work is mostly Barley north, woodchips back down to Cowie or the yard.
Was actually on the phone to the boss last week. Works good just now.

Due to losing my licence I left lol. But if truth be known I would still be there. Got it back thats why i was on the phone, but i pop in now and again when im near.
Keep ur heed down and get on. Don’t damage, learn ur mistake if u do and say so. Beleave he still has south work. Jim has fingers in many pies so to speak.
There’s a few guys been there many years, specially the north lads. He s had united distillery work for absolutely donkeys years.
Call and ask for Jim Stevenson(Owner).

Least you’ve got it back now lol. Ah not to worry I’m a grafter and if we never learned from our mistakes then we would get no where  I got a call from someone who worked there yesterday and got told the training guy there would be in touch so I could do a driving assessment so fingers crossed, it was late in the day so will probs hear back Monday.

Let me know how u get on. May even bump into u when I’m next In lol. Good luck.

Cheers, will do

Alright rocketsquadron, I got it wrong it was a different company that called me Friday. I phoned them back today to find out it wasn’t Stevenson, but still got my assessment tommorow.
