Does anyone remember this ?
Speaking to a driver about it today and he said about the club
But he couldn’t remember what the benefits was and he said you got stuff like jackets and stickers
I do. Never joined it because they wanted names and addresses to add your points to, much easier with Irish ferries or POIS who gave you cards or little stickers.
funny you should ask about the stena truckers club
was sorting stuff out other day and came accross my old stena card
like a plastic credit card with lorry wheel with wings type logo on it
for 18 month i used to do 4 trips a week from manchester - holyhead to dun laoghaire tip in dublin then take time off in dock and back on night boat out of dublin
we used to get points and you could use them for free crossings with your car and family and they also had a catologue with hats t-shirts n other stuff
dont know what its like these days
my card ran out in 2009 but im going into holyhead tomoz with 2 trailers so going ask
I think you could also get a good discount or possibly a free crossing for the car if you had enough points. It has been replaced by the 20% off in the shop discount ticket it must have been costing them too much. Altho if you are taking a car onto one of their ferries if you give them your truck vrn plus a bit of sweet talking and they see you are a regular you will get a discount on the crossing
