Well the time has come to book my theory test, got the date 08/02/20013 at Boston Lincs.
I know I have been doing my practise disk for three months now and getting 94% on theory and 78% h-p I am starting to panic, if I feel like this now how will I feel on the driving test?
Been driving cars for 23 years & the odd vans some up to 7.5 tonne.
Try reassuring my self, but I am starting to doubt my ability. And could do with some tips on what to expect
Once you get past each obstacle/test you will feel more and more ssatisfaction. The main thing is to do it one step at a time and if you fail a test whether it be theory/CPC/practical, don’t let it get to you, don’t let it get you down, just think of it as a minor setback and get right back on the bandwagon for a re-test. If you really want it you won’t let anything get in your way.
Best of luck with it all, and remember, if you aren’t nervous you won’t perform at your best! I’m a firm believer that a bit of nerves gives you a kick up the backside to perform at your best, just learn to control them, not them control you.
The secret to this and all the various tests is correct thorough preparation. It feels great to take a test knowing you are ready for whatever gets thrown at you. You sound like you are ready. Another method is to not prepare, go in cold and hope for the best but this will prove to be costly and time consuming.
I will virtually guarantee you will sail through the theory tests 1st time. Then choose your trainer carefully. Take an assessment or 2 and before you know it all tests will be passed and you will wonder whatever was you worried about.
