Been a long time lurker here ,but got loads of info and help from posts so thought id post at last . Been a Class 2 driver for a while ,but at 58 thought id conplete whatv I’d set out to do and get my Class 1 which i did last April .
Anyways ive been driving rigids ever since ,but last week decided to grow a pair and apply for a Class 1 job and they took me on . Yeah my reversing is bad ,but im gonna be mentored so thats good .
Anyways just wanted to tell someone the good news and hopefully no more cage work for me eh

Good luck and all the very best Col. As someone who’s being doing this a long time my world weary advice would be thus; it’s not a race take your time and cause no injuries. Anyone who mocks you reversing skills is not worth paying attention to. Anyone who offers advice is worth paying attention to, regardless of whether you take that advice or not. The only stupid question is the one you don’t ask. Every day is a school day, and finally wear sunscreen
