It’s called advertising, hence the descriptor just below the username in green.
Green is used to show either, a specialist contributor OR an approved advertiser.
Advertisers pay for the privilege of advertising so that the not inconsiderable costs of running the forum are covered whilst the forum remains membership-fee free for members to use.
