Can anyone put my mind at rest and tell me that I am right and the drivers guard is wrong.
Start time Fri 0646 hrs
Long break 1438-1811 hrs
Finish time Fri 2017 hrs
Start time Sat 0758 hrs
So from 2017hrs fri to 0646hrs sat (24hr period) is 10hrs 29 mins.
Reduced daily has to be 3hrs+ followed by a 9hr+ rest in a 24 hr period to count as a split/regular daily rest, or am I missing something. The drivers guard counted it as a reduced daily which is causing me to question if I am correct on my interpretation of the rules.
Any advice greatly appreciated

It looks like a split daily rest period to me.
I’d go as far as to say that as it looks like a split daily rest and calculates to a split daily rest … it’s a split daily rest
I don’t use a Driver Hour Guard so I’ve no idea why it would count it as a reduced daily rest period.
Someone in the THE DRIVERS HOUR GUARD TECHNICAL SUPPORT FORUM may be able to answer that for you.
