Speedy service :)

Friday afternoon I left NYC heading home and looking foreward to finishing early for the first time in a few weeks. As I got near the exit on I-87 for the Mass pike the front flexi pipe on my exhaust blew up :open_mouth:
It was 5.25pm and the workshop at Albany (10 mins away) closed very soon. I phoned a few times but got no answer so I called the head mechanic at his house (I am trusted with his home number) and he said the last guy obviously didn’t want to answer the phone so late and near to home time, carry on in to the shop and he would call the mechanic. I drove through the gate which had been opened remotely in anticipation of my arrival, the door to the shop was open and the mechanic stood there with a new pipe in his hand, talk about fast work, 15 minutes later I pulled out fully repaired
Isn’t it amazing how fast a man can work when it’s so close to finishing time on a friday

I’d have driven it like that for a couple of weeks makeing more noise, like a big-rigger with no muffler,
Yea baby
