Forget Speadovers or even Spreadovers.
56 hours maximum driving in a week, maximum 90 hours driving in any consecutive fortnight.
So if you start week one and drive 30 hours, week two, drive 50 hours, you can only do 40 hours driving in week three
11 hours rest taken inside 24 hours. eg. start 6am you must be resting by 19.00 commonly and wrongly called 13hrs spreadover
3 x reduced rest of 9hrs allowed between two weekly rest periods. eg. start 6am park up by 20.00 is one reduced 9 hour period even though you have 10 hours rest if you start a 6am tomorrow

Yes, if you start at 6am and finish at 19.01 you have used up one of your reduced rest periods. If it happens to me. then I will often utilise a 10hour drive of which you are allowed to do twice and drive on for another hour.

Vosa do a free handbook with all the rules and regs in. Give them a call and they will send you as many copies as you want.
Just a note. You can actually reduce to 9hours rest every night as long as you have 3hours uninterrupted rest during the day

Ooh, the split rest rule, lovely, because all drivers want to do 5x15hrs a week (6x15hrs every other week)…

What happens if I have 11 hours off starting again at 06.01 does that mean its not a reduced rest?

your work (spread) and rest must total less than 24 so if you work 15 hours take 11 off its still classed as reduced daily break
