Hi, any of you guys that have moved to Spain changed their license to a Spanish one?
Did you keep you vocational entitlement?

No i havent, but being a eu country yes you will keep your vocational entitlement.
If you are planning to become an official resident (residencia) you will have to change your licence. If you are not going to become a resident, you can keep the U K licence for, I believe, 3 months. Bit of a grey area. Some naughty people apply for a duplicate before doing the official change to Spanish licence. NO loss of entitlement. They keep your UK licence and give you a Spanish one. You have to do it in the Trafico office in the province where you live. Not that difficult to do, but you need a Spanish speaker. If you’re going to be employed there, you need to be registered with social security and have a number. Estar de alta in Spanish. Mucha suerte.
I believe the limit is 180 days if you are not a resident.This applies to your driving licence and UK reg car if I am correct.
