Space in cab for night out

Muckaway:
What’s the difference between rest cab and sleeper cab? I thought a rest cab was like the old ERF E and EC models where you had a padded ledge behind the seats that you could lie down on, but not a proper bunk?

Thinking in terms of Volvo’s little Renaults, (FL/FE) the rest cab is the extended day cab with a bunk in it. The sleeper cab is a bit deeper and as a high roof option. Maybe.

do you think any truck manufacturer will make a truck that did not meet legal requiremnts

All sleeper cabs must conform to lorry driver BS standard.

I was always told, it had to be large enough to have ■■■ with 2 prostitutes at once with a dwarf filming the event, but I might have been lied to

Crikey, I thought you would all know this one, no more than 2 consecutive nights out in a cab that you can’t stand up in, 4 nights out a week max with a reduction of 24 hours in a proper bed in the house or similar.

No more than 8 nights out a fortnight and 48 hours in a proper bed to be taken by the end of the third week, following the week in question.

gone are the days of sleeping in an old bedford tk lol

It would be helpful if modern trucks had at least a fold down seat or something that went over the middle console or removed that stupid square thing there, perhaps if that clipped out of the way meaning its just uncomfortable to sleep across the cab length on that Merc I’m driving now. Sitting up in the seats or nothing at all :frowning:
