Spaansen Mercedes truck

Hi,
There was a red Merc that was owned by a dutch company Spaansen and it had the cab forward and lowered. It was in a UK truck mag and Im looking for the article or any pics please!

yes thats the one. I can only find 2 pics on line but sure there was an article years ago. Want to do a scale model

I think? The article was in a late 80’s or early 90’s Trucking International magazine? Back in the day.

There’s a load of those Dutch low-cab crane carriers on the Heavy Haulage thread. Some of them even have the cab chopped.

spaansen also have the FTF museum in the Netherlands and are on their own website, spaansen.nl, the FTF trucks are normally shown at the historisch weekend at Den Helder which this year is on the 29/30th of june, there is a list of gallery photos on the Den Helder web page, dam and blast it
