Newport docks to Uskmouth x 6 daily if I remember 1989 ish. There used to be lines of trucks everywhere, Newport docks probably the worst, full and empty lorries sharing one weighbridge, patience was a virtue.

hi martyn how did you rectify your pics i got same trouble saying file invalid you said you fixed it how did you do it cheers john

hi john i had to alter the camera but i havent taken any pictures yet im renovating a tractor at mo but this is the wrong forum for them cheers martyn.

hi john run quite a few volvo over the years ( 8 wheel tippers ) i much prefered the version 1 rather than version 2 ill keep my eyes peeled on the estate cheers martyn.

Hi Martryn, late 80s Penllyne grew quickly especially when they started going up the road. I think they got a lot of Williams Bros Cross Hands work after they packed in, and they then started subbing out a lot of local work.
Jeff paid on time but took his full share of the rate.

Does anybody remember a company from llanethli that pulled waste tanks and there colours were blue cabs and tanks and yellow wheels…
My god father had a seddon atkinson 400 from them reg NBX 8Y and im trying to find some pics of it but i cant remember the name of the company :frowning:
