Well well well, Terry BRS aka Butch, lovely to see you on here. You mentioned the Richmond legion, do you remember marias cafe then over to the baths for a bath? Pete the attendant, gay boy, smashing chap who always gave us cup of tea under the door. A couple of pints in the club then up to Orange tree pub [ I think thats what it was called 25 30 years ago]
All great guys, all the best Butch. I’ll pm you.

This was taken in the old Williams and Griffiths yard many moons ago just wondering if you have any photos of Foard Transport from Port Talbot Pete 359 as my father was a partner in the firm . They were stacked due to not much room in the yard and before the made their last trip to Jeff Ways

I’ve borrowed this picture from Glynn50’s post in Astran thread, nice Chapman and ball tilt similar to recent Corgi model, but take a look at the F88 door next to it. A south wales haulier!
Neil.

Hi Neil.
Looking on my iPad,I reckon welsh international? The f88 you emailed me about is the one I mentioned to rowly, last week.it has been there for years, advertising a French trucks top.
Regards Andrew.

hi all,
here’s a very happy steelboyf10 and his f10 cake :sunglasses: .

here are a few welsh transcon’s.starting with this one, driven from new by long serving jr driver bernard lewis.in the early 80’s this one was bought by j&m on stormy down.

this one was also owned by j&m,after they bought it from ford motor company.seen on here several times.

this one has been owned by a mate from west wales for 24 years that i know of,now only used for shows.

Great stuff Andrew, keep them coming they still look special even today. Thanks Adrian

hi andrew transcons stunning looking machines lets have some more regards rowly

hi all,
thanks lads, you are both correct, the transcon.was one hell of a machine, before their time in my opinion.you will both recognise this ex hoover a reg.

Did’nt Wynford North run half a dozen transcons on the rockwell job . (pencoed).■■?
