anyone know how to resize a photo to 800x600 using photobucket on ipad? because as you can see,by the two above.i don’t
here’s another question?what is really!!! unusual about this constructor.sent to me by a mate, taken in his dad’s yard in swansea,i have never seen this on a european vehicle, ever mechanic77 and anyone neil has told are excluded ,cause i told him all about this last night, merry christmas lads .
Hi Andrew,
Go onto photobucket click on the photo you want, then get it to the size of this pic of the Leyland, then run your curser along the top of the pic until resize pops up and go down the list until you see 880x600,then click on it,wait and then click on the box which will appear and wait until its re sized.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Andrew
Never seen anything like mate, wonder what that could gross at.
cheers
John.
I dont think that any weight would be a problem to a motor such as this, very unique I would say, the heavier the better. Regards Larry.
Leyland built some 5 axle mixers when the M6 was being built but I believe they used to crack the chassis. The maximum weight in the UK would be 32 tonnes like an eight wheeler but in Holland Sweden and Finland they can run at 40 tonne so they are common there.

Yeah I know what your saying Larry, I just wondered what the legal weight would be.
cheers

Hi all,
Tbh I had never seen anything like it.when my mate told me about it, I was amazed. Then I dug out a few old videos, remember those big old tape spooled things so they tell me, in Australia, triple drive and powered trailers are both fairly common. This is the first time I have heard triple drive in Swansea though
Just to ■■■■ you all of. I text my. Mate “bob” he is the expert bar none on the south Wales haulage industry. The question about the 100 year old mid-Glamorgan haulier and he text back, within seconds the very firm I had thought of rowly, i know you know his number, so you are excluded and all the people you know, how will that work happy Christmas lads
Happy christmas everyone.
Neil.
pete 359:
Hi all,
Both good suggestions, though not the Bridgend area firm I am thinking of . I dare say, other regions of Wales have some long established truck owners still trading? Maybe member price, bwaddy could come up with a mid/ north Wales company that are still trading after 100 years?though tbh I can’t think of any from there.I think? That a member of the wynn family is still involved with transport, though as far as I am aware, not road transport.
Regards Andrew.
Hi Andrew,merry xmas mate,
You’re right about Wynns…John Wynn’s son,Peter is still involved in transport but nowadays on the water. They operate the biggest transport barge I’ve ever seen !!! Ithink its called the TERRA MARIQUE.
Regards Mark

Hi all, Andrew Mid-Glam is big these days and over the years the boundaries have changed.
Could we please have a clue! Perhaps which Valley or something similar?
Great question.
Regards Paul

Hi Neil,
After a bit of help from me you finally guessed it h.c. Herbert and son, so I am told have been trading around 100 years. Though don’t be too pleased with yourself, because it took a major clue from me and that was nearly a week after my mate bob( you know who you are)correctly guessed by text .there must be? Some other welsh firms who have been in business that long?
Regards Andrew.
Andrew,
to be honest I can’t say I knew them, I had my suspicions it would be some thing like a removals firm as they are off our radar a bit but do seem to manage longeveity better than most.
What do you think of my Transcon?
Neil.

Hi Neil,
Stop back pedalling and admit defeat Herbert’s may be a removals firm now, though they have done their tour of duty in the general haulage industry, only concentrated on removals, last 9-10 years.if you were as old as me, you would know that, they delivered steel, toilet roll and everything else that everyone else now delivers.
Regarding the transcontinental.outstanding mate,as I have come to expect from my sons mate from blackwood .
Regards Andrew.
