hi all,thanks for the good comments she is a 26tonner 8speed gate box she will carry 12.5 ton the cab is transfers all our tractor units are being done in same design we should have all the ridgids by end of month, andrew thanks for the job you done on the car excellent work :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

Indeed it is Andrew, K&J [Ken & John] Withey were based in Maesycymmer just a 10 minute or so walk from my house. I remember hearing the loud bangs of the bodies being moved around during my childhood.

I grew up with their nephew and we used to go and have a nose around there as truck mad kids would :slight_smile: .

I think they later made canal barges there too and had some involvment with Bedwas bodyworks.

The buildings had stood empty until fairly recently but it is now another site thats been levelled.

In fact the rear bumper/light bar on my 142 is a piece of Withey engineering [quite proud of that now]

Gents, GFC is due to be there also, so its a COOPFEST !, all we needed was that pesky ERF from JJJJJJJoints!
