hi marcus,
thanks for the sk catnic photo,that will please rward ,as he hates those things,i love the sk mercs.though to be fair the smaller non turbo v8’s were gutless.the 1633’s,35’s,38’s and 1748 that joint ran were flying machines in their day.i reckon that a g cab sk will be my next restoration project,one day? anyway back to my boring holiday photos and the turk drivers didn’t know what to make of this strange tourist taking pictures of their otosan’s in kusadasi.

hello anthony.
the story behind the scania hiab is that it started life as a 4x2 tractor unit and was owned by BRS truck rental,walters bought it around 1997 and it went over to avonmouth to be streched and a third axle was added the make was granning,then a fassi 240 crane was added .

don’t think i had ever seen one of those before?probably only available overseas.20+ years ago,every uk scaffolder,builder and truck rental company had one of these .
