As the title suggests. Who thinks some trucks look better with out the air kit eg Scania Highline , Volvo version 1 & 2
First thing i do when i buy a truck is take the airkit off , pain in the bloody arse on flat work
Had an Actros 2446LS without any air kit.
It looked like it was bald!
Saw a scania ridged 6 legged the other week, no air pack on it just a small light bar colour matched to the cab at the back as a work light bar, think it had a camera fitted to see the load ? Looked smart.
You see a lot of the fuel tankers looking bold too
I think it all depends on what type of trailer or body is behind the cab. If you are pulling a curtainsider, the cab looks silly without an air kit. But if it’s a flat or tanker behind it, it would look silly with an air kit.
I see a Daf CF quite regularly, I think it runs out of Booker/Iceland in Livingston, it looks ridiculous. It is a high cab to begin with but also has a wind defector on to of it, looks a right mess towing a decker even worse towing a normal trailer or a urban

We got a few of those CF’s like that at some of the Northern depots…no matter what trailer they got on, they look ■■■■■■■■■■■ like a bloody sail stuck with on the roof!
