nice pics Danne!
“Second on,good!” - you try that with a regular artic, most definitely you’ll end up either in the basement or on the top floor
We are always in that floor,so i nerver been down or up
Are you in a Scania now?
So back to the Ferry then but first load!
Dirty Dan:

I remember when I used to take the Finnlink from Malmö to Travemünde then the estonian trucks would always go in the basement as well… it’s pretty tight in there and you better be good at maneuvering so I guess we were thought to be better drivers than those from the balkans etc
yeah I’m in an R560 now, not the best of trucks I’d say but I’m not one to complain

The goal is that hole road between Turku and Pori is going to be motorway. First is the stretch between existing motorway and Masku, will be finished 2016. Already that will help a lot to get faster out of Turku heading North
It’s long since I last has had to go to the basement on Finnlink. Even with 17m I had luukupaika a couple of times
Mildon: Don’t like a 560? to weak or? They had 2 of them here but had less than 400hp when put on the dyno. Plugged waste gate solved that problem, turned out they did never closed properly . A bit more fuel on top of that and they finally went like they should from the factory
exactly, feels underpowered and is very thirsty when it comes to diesel and andblue. but it’s only a year old so will have to wait a year to be tweaked. and as I’m in a different truck every month, won’t be my problem…

You can’t compare summer and winter consumption. The 620 has gone up from 35-38 in the summer months to ex 42 this week. One of the hills I drive regular it’s also down 5-6km/h in speed compared to with summer tires.
Don’t think I could handle having to change trucks any more. 3½ years was enough.
Btw were was you this week? if you got to have some fun on the ice when the weather turned around this week. Rökland and Dunderlandet was lovely on Wednesday. As usually the plough trucks was nowhere to be seen in Dunderlandet, the already small road had 20cm thick slush on both sides. A bit tight to meet anyone
Started to think that not even the lowest classed roads where I live has as bad winter maintenance as the e6 has on some parts.
I haven’t even seen a real winter so far so I can’t be blamed on being too hard on the scania, I am biased on the turbocompound engines anyway, but wasn’t expecting something as weak… last few weeks I haven’t been further north than E16, taking prefab houses to stavanger and bergen, I have a feeling I’m not being allowed further north due to being a novice

Ah thats good news, but road isnt that bad but a motorway is always nice
I have never been in the basement or the top deck,we always straight on.
My friend have 560 and he is really happy whit it good on fuel and pulls like a train at 60ton. He had a 620 before and from what he says the 560 is far bettre on everyting.

Yep motorway is nice but mostly boring. I usually take 41 and 2 up to Pori. You get to do a bit of driving on that road.
Yeah i Know what you mean, but i dont drive so mutch on freeways so when i do it Its nice most bad roads to and from quarries…
Was it you going past Stockholm this morning?

Nope, I Got a knapen trailer. And Sthlm is to crowded for my taste and according to my map it’s just water South of Sundsvall, Trondheim, like when people talk about digging out SkÃ¥ne just that a bit more is missing on mine

I’m enjoying my vacation still, but tomorrow morning I’ll be on the ferry to Helsinki, with a prefab house to Tromsø
Hi mate! And happy new year! Hope you had a good holiday
Oh thats a good trip! Must say im a bit yellus Were do you cross the border? Haparanda or further north?
Im of today to,only going to Junsele about 550km drive. Only have a smal cat it38 wheelloader up so thats a nice change for once But up there im loading a cat770 so no light load there. About 45000kg and 4.4 m wide and deliver it to Losen about 100km north of Sveg. Becuse of the permit for the wide load it will probably take all of monday,if i take the shortest route its just about 350-370km…
Have a good trip up north, and maby give Hutpik a call and get some coffey
