Solid oak desk to Bulgaria?

Right then this goes with my other post, what is the cheapest way to get a large solid oak desk/table to Plovdiv, Bulgaria as they can’t get it in their caravan or car ? It was donated for free and they really would like it there.

You could try a pallet network

Luggage rack on top of car.

Why bother with a roof rack? Do as all the Dutch do on the exodus to Maroc, strap it straight to the roof and fill the spaces between the legs with anything else that will fit.

Dutch?? Surely you mean Dutch plates.

Gbpub, they are not Dutch people driving non stop to Morocco,it is the Muslims heading home with the kitchen sink on the roof,a ton of old tyres and 60 old bikes, tied on with baler twine, they may live and work in any european country,i used to see Swiss number plates, with old vans and cars, all heading south to get the ferries from Algcerias or Almeria to Africa.
The Gendarmes soon worked out they were over weight, and you would see mobile weigh mats on the toll booths or peages, and the fine to pay.

Spot on, they come from all corners of Europe and Scandinavia and head blindlessly to the south of Spain with all their tat to sell in northern Africa and their a menace on the road and in the services the whole way down, several deaths every year!!!

But back to the question, there’s always loads of Bulgarian and Romanian vans going Calais Dover and I recon most would have space going back home as their always loaded on the way into the UK but I recon they’d have bugger all going back.

Equitran thanks that could be an idea, what would be an average sort of price for a one way trip anybody got any ideas as I do need answers .

Try shiply.co.uk, they usually have carriers who will do any trip you fancy

Thankyou and welcome to TNUK.
