does anybody know anything about sodium valproate? how long the effects of this last etc etc need as much info as possible
Hi Sodium Valproate is used to treat epilepsy & bipolar. It is a mood stabiliser that can be taken alongside antidepressants. You can get slow release tablets, that means the person is recieving a steady dose through 24hrs rather than a sudden hit & slowing of effect. You take a dose daily for however long you require help. They can have some unsavoury side effects & you shouldn’t stop taking them suddenly, the dose would be lowered over time till you stop taking them completley. Whomever they are for I hope they are feeling better & wish them well
