They have given me a new truck, brand new made in Mexico and right off I find differences, firstly I get in and turn the key and the battery is dead LOL so I get the mechanic out for a jump start. It’s still a Cascadia but the dash is different and the lamps and other things are strange to me, I get out the handbook and look at the instrument panel section but among all the diagrams not one is like the dash in here LOL… Never mind, on to seat adjustment as it’s not quite right, again the seat I am sitting in is not shown LOL.
Isn’t it sods law when switching trucks that no matter how much you think you have changed everything when you get 100 miles up the road you find you have left something or things in the old vehicle ? … With me it was my full sized Union Jack from the bunk, one jacket, several various soft toys that my little girl insists I carry and … q whole cupboard full of food and drink supplies. I have had to email the shop where I left the truck, who then in turn have contacted the geezer who was now tearing down I-87 south to NYC and ask him to take my stuff out and leave it in a back room of the office in Yonkers.
Hi Pat, Funny old World isn’t it? I’m just the opposite this weekend. I start orientation for a new job on Monday, yet will still be driving the same truck; just a new license plate, a new fleet number and a different name on the door.
Pat just had a call THAT’S NOT YOUR TRUCK
Yeah fella sods law they’ve not printed your hand book yet that will prob come out next year.
keep it steady you just know somethings gonna break …
happens to me ,get a new truck an year later get another one, i wonder how i accumulated so much extra gear/junk in-between 2 trucks yet never noticec the build up.then i go an leave all the important stuff in old truck
The truck is a 2014, it was delivered on a low loader to Albany on Wednesday along with a wait for it … a 2015 truck
How the hell can we have a 2015 truck ? it’s only just 2014.
I thought that’s odd how that works over there. When I was cooped up in a hotel on a breakdown I took a stroll over to the Ford dealers next door looking at a mustang the sales guy said its the 2014 model but this was in January 13
