YELLOW SNOW WARNING for England.
An area of sleet and snow will come eastwards across England during the early morning, probably becoming light and patchy later in the morning as it slows down over eastern areas. However, later in the day it is expected to intensify again, at the same time turning back to rain in places. Through the day there is the risk of 5 cm accumulations in places, and more than that above 200 m. However, there is greater than average uncertainty at this range, especially in the extent to which snow affects southern counties, and it is quite possible that the Alert will be upgraded to an amber Warning if confidence increases.
The public are advised to monitor the forecast and to be aware of the risk of disruption to travel.
Valid 0005 to 2355 Monday.

I 'll answer my own question snows not too bad but the freaking traffic was!
Started slowing coming down Windy Hill back at Harthead Moor now snowing plenty but not sticking yet

Hehe, am here now.

Looked out of my window earlier towards motorway - 25-24, but couldn’t see it due to the snow. Anyway it seems to be running OK for now. But as you stated, still snowing but not sticking much. I think Ice will be main problem in next couple of days. Down to minus 5 tomorrow…

I’m back on the white rose side of the mountain now as snow is coming from the east we’ll get it before you Goldilox I’ll keep you informed

Heavy snow and sticking in garforth.

Well, the sun has got its hat on here now. Glorious, but I think theres trouble on the M1 near Sheffield - incident

Now at Doncaster,snow is sticking.
M1 north…shut at tinsley viaduct,due to serious accident.diversion underneath.

Strange you should mention gritters , I’m right outside their yard now having dinner .
No sign of any action but then again weve had no snow to speak of.
Whereabouts in Hgt you goin Goldilox ?

Near the Stray, setting off after 3pm - 62, 621, Leeds etc.

Won’t have any internet connection whilst there though. Back Friday (ish)
