Hi all
After attempting to update my Snooper S7000 with the free map update I’m now having trouble actually installing the maps onto the sat nav. After the maps had downloaded from the snooper neo site the downloader program attempted to install them but couldn’t because of some sort of error with a file and now I can’t actually access Navigation on the unit itself 
Just wondering if anyone could shed some light, if anyone has had any similar issues.

Mine is been collected by courier on Monday, to be replaced.
It did not show the A689 around the North of Carlisle, and the maps suppose to be up to date.
It warned me of sharp bends on straight bits of road, displaying me travelling at over 70mph, when I was only doing 50, with trailer info set it tried to get me to go right, where I know if I would not of gone, just a few of the problems I’ve encountered.
I phoned Snooper and they claim it’s a soft ware issue. It’s only just over a week old. Should have stuck with TomTom.
Had my snooper about 4 yrs now and when I 1st got it noticed it shows j31 m62 whit wood truckstop area as a 7.5t limit I rang customer support and they said it would be rectified on the nx map update… Still waiting

Have you tried re-downloading the files, and running it again? I know it takes foreverer.
Can’t really help you otherwise as mine worked first time. If not contact snooper I’m sure they’ll have an idea.
Does the £29.99 only cover me for the speed camera update then? I assumed this covered map updates too as when I connect via USB to computer with the software installed it takes a minute or two to update.
Also any reason why it displays the car speed limits even though I’m in a truck and in truck mode, when it pipes up ’ warning warning it does voice prompt the correct speed limit but still displays 50.
Also if your near honley in west Yorkshire the bridge on woodhead road is definitely not 11ft 9 in more like 14 ft 6.
