Toll in Slovakia: Transit ticketing to stop from 01.10.2013

Transit ticketing for the toll in Slovakia ceases to operate on 30.9.2013. However, it will continue to be possible to pay toll charges in Slovakia with an OBU from SkyToll using the Pre-pay or Post-pay procedure.

It’s a bloody HUGE box you plug into the ■■■ lighter. It takes the ■■■■ when you only transit the country once a year because they want the box back because you wont be using it enough. The process lost us the best part of an hour.

So does one get to pay at the frontier with Czech, or the first garage, and is it really that difficult to get the box…costs would be nice to know as well.
