Recorded it a while ago and recently just watched it, Laurel and Hardy life story, if you have a memory of ever seen them it’s well worth a watch just for the story

I grew up watching them on tv, I think it was on Saturday mornings, they were so funny, the piano scene was comic genius.

I can recommend the film Under The Skin with the brilliant Scarlett Johansson who drives around the streets of Glasgow picking up random men in a Ford Transit van, the men were not actors and had no idea it was her, some parts are disturbing to watch, the music is spellbinding, the lorry driver scene in the forest is quite upsetting in the ■■■■ scene.

Another really great film is Wolf Creek, it’s about a serial killer in the remote Australian outback who sabotages tourists cars then tows them back to his den, for me the best part is when the tourists are sat around a camp fire and a comment is made to him then his expression on his face changes, fantastic acting skills.

The Vietnam War

Let me guess re written to say that the South invaded the North to impose decadent French and American ideology on free thinking Communists.

Full Metal Jacket, one of the best war films.

We Were Soldiers Mel Gibson was also a good Vietnam War film. But not sure what the point it was trying to make at the end.Seemingly as so often trying to justify the Communist side.
Unrestricted strategic air power alone, sending North Vietnam back to the stone age and China if needed, was the way to win that war not boots on the ground v what was clandestine Chinese manpower forces and resources.

The Killer about an assassin with Michael Fassbender, absolutely fantastic film and Hyena about a team of corrupt drug squad detectives in London.
