Got a driving assessment for farm collection here on Friday, was just wondering if people know much about them, I have done farm collection before so I know the job. It’s just trying to get a bit of info about barghs.

There’s some reviews from drivers on indeed, some of which are recent saying awful management who don’t know the law with regard to EU rules and GB domestic rules. And apparently there’s some telematics system they use where depending on how you perform you can put on a gold silver or bronze pay level for that week. Also they say old trucks and if you breakdown you’ll get put on bronze pay for that week. I don’t know any more than that or how true any of that is. More than 1 recent review states what I’ve said there though.

Their wage structure has been “nuts” as you say for more than 50 years so no change there then ! Bewick.

Fair enough, I was told recently it had changed onto the gold, silver and bronze system within the last couple of years.
still a nutty system for drivers to put up with in my mind.
