Parked overnight just off the Sidcup ByPass (A20) at the layby on the roundabout before you get to CCE, in February this year.
Got a PCN for that, the penalty code was 55, which is parking in the London Overnight Lorry Ban area. There are no signs on this laybay, nor opposite nor a forward facing sign as you come off the A20 into Crittalls Corner and despite raising this with the London Borough of Bexley they have rejected my Challenge.
I now await a Notice to Owner which I understand should include a Verification Code which I need for my next step which is to appeal to the London Tribunal.
Total hassle, but I’m sure I’m right and will return with the verdict once it’s sorted!
So just beware about parking there!

Yes, a couple of Gregory’s drivers did and then they sent out instructions to all drivers not to park there. I don’t know if they appealed or not, I might be able to find out in the week.

Spin the image round you can see a sign for the side road. You are clearly not in the London Lorry Control.
I got ticketed just before Christmas. Had an argument with the warden cos there were no signs, but he didn’t want to know. I fired off an appeal there and then but I think they were on their Christmas holidays because I heard nothing back. I handed the ticket into the office and whether they appealed or just paid I don’t know.
I don’t see why, but they may be basing their opinion on what cannot be read on this sign.

I appealed which got reacted and i had in the Letter they sent me a possibility to apply for a Hearing which i applied for.
In my Case i went A205 east and Putney Hill up to A3.
Took a Photo from every Traffic Sign from A205/A406 to Putney,put it in a Letter and wrote under each Photo where it was taken and why there is a Sign or not. On that crossing is a Lorry Ban if you travel westbound,but not if you travel Eastbound.
In your Case i would argue that the Lorry Ban says you cant drive between the Houres,and as you run over the Time you can drive,due to bad Traffic,you parked up to avoid Hardship to the People who leave there.

The sign which can not be read has nothing to do with LLC.
I’m surprised that nobody has kicked up about the regular queue to get in, blocking the road, often as far back as the roundabout. I don’t pull my curtains back until inside the gate now. Doing it on the road is not safe. And we all know CCE take our health and safety serious…

Just been told a subbie got a ticket there last night.
Somethings telling me there’s a sign in that layby about overnight parking. I know I saw something there a couple of months back. I jumped in there for 15 mins waiting for the lbts ban to finish at 7

Define local. There is the layby on the A20 just when you come of the M25, but that is full and ■■■■ at the best of times…
The job got refused in the end, due to parking issues 
The job was planned to load overnight, and come back in after 9 hours off, and then go for it 
The rest is history, glad it changed
