At coop at moment. Just got sick note from docs and the have insisted that I have to bring it in in person. Have to get the wife to drive me as I can’t at moment due to pain and drugs. Must say that coop do tend to be reasonably fair but you have to ring in by 1000 to advise if you are still sick the following day!
Which depot is that, in the past I’ve posted them, wife has dropped them in, even a mate has done it at Blenheim.
Tell them to sod off and post it recorded, they will ask you 20 questions when you get there.
Castlewood. Done it anyway and does show that it is genuine.
Ahhh deadwood depot, is Matt Hatton still there?
I’ve known places, and it’s been wide spread, where sickness abscence is used as additional leave. It’s been openly discussed in advance when people are going to off sick.
Frankly I’ve no time for any of this. If someone had bowel cancer for chuffs sake they need all the help and support they can.
Having a Friday/Monday off with a sniffle when you’re on a last warning is bang out of order and I’ve no sympathy whae you get the boot
Ahhh deadwood depot, is Matt Hatton still there?
Keeping her lit since 2012

In a previous career I know someone who had a formal disciplinary for having bowel cancer. They actually got financially penalised under Bradford scoring for having to attend the follow up appointments.Anybody reading the above who considers unions an irrelevance at best and dinosaurs at worst needs to have a good long think. That type of abhorrent behaviour is the future gentlemen.
+1
Unfortunately they don’t want to hear it, they have to learn the hard way.
