Is anyone else getting sick of how long it is taking DVLA to do anything?
Scrolling through Twitter and seeing how other people are doing, shows just how long it is taking. Unfortunately for us and a lot of other people, we have sent off documents we need for other aspects of our life, with no other choice. For one thing, I can’t get a job until they send me back my licenses. Other people are in worse or similar boats. Don’t get me started on their “Industrial action” when the rest of us are all happy to work.
More to the point of this post; Anyone who has recently submitted applications to the DVLA, how long has it taken to get your licenses back?

My licence came back today after passing Monday and I ordered my Tacho card Tuesday and that also arrived today. Just waiting on my CPC card
passed my hgv medical 17th May…posted doc’s off the next day,still not received my licence back

You’re one of the lucky ones. Scrolling twitter, some people haven’t had anything back in months and with no way to contact the DVLA there is nothing they can do but sit and wait. Watch them strike week after week consequently stopping other people from working and in some cases not be able to apply for jobs. I have DQC and Digi card.

Company I’m looking at won’t take me unless I have all 3 cards so I’m just sitting and waiting getting more and more frustrated over this meaningless strike. Look at the numbers; they had a large number of cases, yes, but they had a single death. I’m sorry to that person and to their family but 29 London bus drivers died! They have had it pretty nice compared.
