There must be an interesting history to this one, It started life as a right hand drive F88 (Chapman &Ball ? ) and is now a left hand drive F89 . The log book still has it as an F88. Guess it got restored next to an 89 at some point !

Hi Trev, the only new F89 that Russel and Gordon had from new I supplied from Hartshornes Walsall,…and she went on fire due to a poor radio installation on Red Hill bank on the A5 on delivery.

Back to Walsall, quick repair, then off to Caddies…and no problems…a lovely lorry!!

the volvo F 88 in cadwalladers livery , did as you say start its life with chapman and ball, as did RWD 240 R and RWD 241 R.They all 3 arrived at c and b as left hand drive dutch spec 240s i know because i did 5 trips wth RWD 239 R. and very good they were too terry

I remember that KV that Blowers had, I called there a couple of times as the old boy was restoring it. You couldn’t meet a nicer bloke, a real enthusiast if ever there was one.
