Ive found on the DSA website the show me/tell me questions and that on the car test part it says
“Candidates will be asked two questions, one ‘show me’ and one ‘tell me’. One or both questions answered incorrectly will result in one driving fault being recorded.”
I can’t find if thats the same for other tests too. So, is this the same for Class C test also. A wrong answer is one fault?
I’m asking here as its a bit late in the night to ask me instructor
For Motorcycle (P, B1, A1, A2, A) Car (B1, B) and ‘Domestic’ (F, G, H, K) Driving Tests you will be asked 2 show me/tell me questions - answering one or both questions incorrectly will result in one driving fault being recorded.
For Car + Trailer (B+E), Lorry (C1, C) and Bus (D1, D) Driving Tests you will be asked 5 show me/tell me questions - each incorrect answer will result in a driving fault being recorded, upto a maximum of 4 driving faults…answering all 5 questions incorrectly will result in a serious fault being recorded.
For Lorry + Trailer (C1+E, C+E) and Bus + Trailer (D1+E, D+E) Driving Tests you will be asked 2 show me/tell me questions - answering one question incorrectly will result in a driving fault being recorded…answering both questions incorrectly will result in a serious fault being recorded.
(If the Examiner has to take action to avoid danger to the candidate, examiner or another road user, an ETA-V and/or ETA-P (Examiner Took Action - Verbally/Physically) will be recorded and a serious/dangerous fault recorded. As an example, when asked to demonstrate how to check that the lights are working, the candidate inadvertently starts the car up in gear and the Examiner has to take action. An ETA would be recorded and a serious fault recorded at ‘Precautions’.)
