Can you afford to buy yourself a “decent” truck that isn’t going to cost you a fortune in repairs … and still have enough money in the bank to cover your running costs whilst waiting to get paid for the work ?
Will a lease / rental Co accept you as a “new start” with no credit history … would be worth approaching a few to ask the question ?
Then there is the 64,000 $ question … have you got work sorted for this truck that is going to PAY ?
I`d hang on a year if I were you, we are in very turbulent times due to our very inept political class, and to make things worse, the banks are very nervous because of the uncertainty …
Its never a great time to start in this game, just be careful if you are not for turning
