Not sure but I know none of us here in the Steinbach area are citizens yet 
I landed in Canada as a 3 year old in 1957. Mom & Dad took out citizenship in 1965, so my sister and I got it too. My brother was born in BC in 1960 so is Canadian by birth. Back then, I’m told, it took 5 years before you could apply to become a citizen. We left Canada in December 1967 to come back to the UK and I didn’t visit again until 2008. As soon as I went to visit my childhood home, my kids started planning to move out there because they could and the grass was definately appearing greener toward the end of 2008 with all the talk of recession here! They were all born in the UK, but because I have Canadian Citizenship, so do they, even though they had never been in Canada. Lucky or what?

Please consider that the second picture contained a word which the auto-censor would have caught if you’d written it in a post.
Before I removed the picture, I ran the word past the auto censor, which automatically returns this: ■■■■■■■
This can easily be checked right now by hitting the ‘quote’ button. The auto-censor catches it, so forum Rule #3 applies.
Maybe you have a separate issue with the way that the auto-censor is set to catch certain words, but this isn’t the time or place for that (separate) discussion. If you’d like to take that up, could I politely suggest that you consider starting a topic about it in the feedback forum, or alternatively you might take it up with Site Admin or the Community Manager (Rikki-UK) by PMs if you prefer. FYI, the pic still exists, but it’s in ‘storage.’

That counts as an auto-censor dodge, so I removed that for the same reason.
The auto-censor is set to catch certain words, and that word is one of them.
You simply substituted a couple of the letters for other symbols eg. @ and some others choose to use *****, which is as unacceptable on TNUK as the word itself.
Rule 3 No bad language, racism, or other downright 'orrible stuff. The quickest way to find out if a word is allowed or not is to include it in a posting, and if the auto censor gets it, it is not allowed.
Re-spelling or doctoring a word to get it past the censor does NOT suddenly make the word allowable.
Rule 3 also covers Personal Attacks. Attack the post but not the poster.
As you can see from a quick read of Rule #3, you ‘doctored’ the word in the example you gave in order to get it past the auto-censor.
As a Mod, I come across this quite often and always suggest to folks that they simply type any word they like and then use the ‘preview’ feature or simply hit the ‘submit’ button.
If they see [zb.] instead of the word, then it means that the word isn’t allowed. When folks ‘doctor’ a word to get it past the auto-censor, a Mod will edit the post and remove the ‘dodge’ replacing it with [zb.] manually as I did in your example. The forum rules are accessible from each individual forum, so folks are never far from the guidance they provide. The sanction system is just below the rules, but many folks simply don’t read it. As I said, your picture was only a minor breach and nothing for anybody to make a big deal about.

It’s possible, but the issue is still that the auto-censor catches that particular word, my own personal sensibilities are irrelevant.

Just read through the whole 7 pages of this thread, before nodding off for 20mins. for the most part its a lot of mindless drivel, really. In 1 corner we have the " Biggest Loser’ in Canadain trucking history trying to preach to us that we should all return to the UK as a protest to a few bad employersThen we have others pontificating on how great we all are that have survived the first few years, and that the natural selection method of survival of the trucking industry helps weed out the " weak and not so good immigrants"
Lets face it trying to live any where on this planet aint easy in these economicaly challenged times, here its a tad harder coz its soooooooooo frickin cold. This industry that we are all love to hate has all ways had bad blood coursing through its vains,we will never get the recognition we deserve, we will never get the wages we earn, we will allways feel picked upon by dispatchers and managment, we will allways be disrespected by shippers and receivers, we will allways be under the scruitiny of the law. OMG, The internet is full …■■? How many drivers des H&R have approx 590, 15% maybe on TWP so 88 drivers, lets say 15% of these unhappy so 13 drivers, and lets say 15% actually post their moans so 2 drivers. Hardly enough to fill internet
