These probably aren’t even what you would consider ‘articulated’ but more of a tray-back on a unit! 
They were used to tow a portable mobile phone tower into position as well as carry the fencing to go around it. I saw some of their newer vehicles a few weeks back and they look like they use more of a wag’n’drag setup now
