Robert,

I would expected better of you. Unlaced and twisted tir tapes on every photo… And no back boards in…

Very slack

kerbut:
Well , I don’t know Cliff , I recognise the Fairweather truck ,but that not Les or Keith

Now now kerbut, you know thatis not Fairweather’s truck, the clue is on the headboard. The driver is my old mate John Ditcham now a resident in Thailand. He’s had one or two health issues in the last couple of years but is well happy with his new life. Regards Keith.

I used to see loads of Comptons commercial ltd with box can trailers that did Panasonic loads of Tv’s to Greece.
And STS Southern transport services.
What MJM from Redditch, most of their drivers married the waitresses from the BP truck stop at Saint Andre de Cubzac, Bordeaux.
PJK transport, the McDonald’s contract to North of Madrid near the Formula One race track on the National One.
Merv the Swerve from Bath.
The Brintons carpets subbies who did Vouzela near Porto to the UK with white Erf,s.
John long pockets from Devizes, surname of Yates.
Blond Pete.

Cliff your going a bit senile should be years not days you daft so and so.regards Geoff

Coming off at Cherbourg

Going up the newish by pass, rather than through town.

Unloading in Normandie.

Long way round to get to Brico Depot Dean !, but must admit when in the car come off at the first turning after Mesguin,s warehouse and come out on the same round point saving something like 3 miles.

Cherbug used to be a portakbin and a BIIIIGGG railway shed and no fences (bit like Poole). I “rescued” an “AA official agent” sign off the railway shed.

“The Brintons carpets subbies who did Vouzela near Porto to the UK with white Erf,s.” Is that where the "Vou Vouzela’s were invented?
