Apart from the big depot at Irun, I seem to remember a smaller depot on the river a few miles up the road to Pamplona. It came up on the right, just over a bridge. Robert

They always seemed to have a lot of Macks. Trundle out of Irun on the N1 and they came up left and right just after a Carrefour IIRC. (and a Bag House under the trees on the bendy bit!).
Didn’t they (olloquequi) have few 113 Scania with double headlights ?
As in raised up cabs and one below the other ?
If I rembember correctly they also had a scania dealership near beasain down the n1
They also had a couple of Brits working for them.I wonder if they’re on here.
I think Irun was the Mack hub , San Jose ran Macks ,Olloquiegui ran Macks and Lopez also had a handful of them
Yes they look familiar Geoff , the top one is obviously on the parking before the Blanc tunnel and the other earlier one is in Poole by the shed
Does anyone remember Alan Spencer who used to drive for Euro PSL, he may have been an O/D for them.
There used to be something written on the toilet wall in the old restaurant/bar at Cherbourg about Reg ,but I cant remember what it said .
What i remember shipping out of poole .[hanging meat] if it was going to be a heavy crossing they would not ship us ,so then a chase to pompey for the next available to any where ,the OStream had not started.OR if you were not a regular you would end up either on the lift or under it and get covered it grease.
Also why, did I/WE somtimes when leaving CHERBOURG TURN RIGHT GO over a bridge. past a supermarket up a hill and out,i do not recall why,was it to miss the main road out.I do remember a lot of back roads, also picking new fridge trailers up not far from the port CHERUE ?FRIDGES.BUT FROM WHERE.MUST BE AT LEST 25 YEARS AGO
if your on about the big hill m8 that was the only route out way back or just b4 u start the climb u could do a right and go down the coast road
