I made it clear…I do NOT do illegal!
I can assure you I am not suggesting for a second that you are breaking any laws. Right from your very first post on the subject it has been perfectly clear that your venture into courier work has been meticulously researched to ensure full legal compliance. My posts are directed at those less responsible persons who try Shiply out on a whim without doing the proper research into their legal obligations beforehand.
Paul
I never suggested you did Paul. Sorry if it came over that way. Just ■■■■■■ off with the jealousy, cos’ I get off my arse and get on with something. Unlike some!

You’ll need a tacho and olicence in the disco now beleive it or not

This is not true, you need an O licence for a Transit type vehicle and trailer but not a dual purpose vehicle like a disco or double cab pick up, but you do need a tacho, anyone running a transit type truck with trailer such as myself have 6 months from 4 dec 2011 to comply or at least thats what Swansea is telling us, in the last 2 years I have only done 6 jobs off shiply as the rates are crap, but they were back loads down from Scotland, but being Vat reg too it makes it even more difficult.
I little bit of info some of you lads that are doing Courier work or light haulage , when getting insurance tell them it’s light haulage, don’t mention the word courier as they load it, your not doing anything illegal unless your working for someone like tnt doing 50 drops a day. That came from a broker I use to deal with.
