So, your employer paid for you to go through your class two.

You have, presumably, a solid contract of employment.

You, currently, earn – with 0% experiance – in the region of 11.50 an hour.

Sorry mate but you come across as a whinger who wants jam on everything from the get-go!

Shut the [zb} up and get on with it!

To be fair, class 2 costs around £800 - £900 so even at £8 an hour thats 105 roughly hours to pay that back. So after a month or two he is entitled to a raise since hes paid the cost of the license back. He cant be expected to be underpaid forever just because the boss paid for his license.

£800-900 is a very low figure most courses cost more, mine cost around £1200. then you have to factor in cpc, retests and medicals plus the time the TM spent sorting it out.

True, but that wasnt really my point

Then Class 1 and all the lost time/money spent doing that, however many tests it takes…and for what ?
You know what ?..If I was doing it all now, I wouldn’t even ■■■■ bother. :unamused:

As someone who recently passed, I’m asking myself the same question. :l

Ignore, posted in wrong thread

£9 an hour on agency for class 2, and that was regardless of day or night. Generally did 45-50 hours a week to boost the money which I didn’t mind. Once I get some more recent experience on the rigids, I’ll get back to class 1 tramping.
