Sent for my first Tacho. How long?

I’ve sent off the d777b-dl form for a new tacho after passing my C2 licence :slight_smile:

I start a new job on Monday too! Luckily there is training which I believe I two weeks (I think) this is according to other colleagues that starting pre-covid, so hopefully the training length is still the same 2week period.

Anyone ordered a new tacho during covid? is the 15 working day lead time accurate during theses crazy times?

Mine came through really quick can’t remember exactly but was within two weeks.

My replacement one came through in approx 5 days from posting so shouldn’t be too long. They don’t seem to require any significant checks.

Assuming you’re not on agency you might get away with waiting for it depending on what the training is. Anything related to using the truck will require the card, but paperwork stuff won’t.

Getting a job that quick with 2 weeks of training sounds like a really good deal.
