Selling truck advice (LEZ compliance)

hi all

sorry if not the right place / not allowed

my dad is a haulage contract operating as a sole trader.
he has a 2003 mercedes atego 7.5 tonne truck thats not LEZ compliant. he lives in london and his clients are based there too

he wont be able to afford a new truck and is 62 so likely going to pack it in (unless its feasable to lease a truck I need to investigate for him)

is there a particular place that is good / know for selling trucks?
Imagine it’s still of use to businesses outside of M25 region (or maybe not!!

also are there any places/agencies he can work for should he still wish to work (but obviously not as sole trader)
any tips are welcome as it keeps him fit and busy!

any advice is appreciated.

Worth not a lot looking on E-bay, unless.it has a special body.
IF it’s a box it might be worth trying to sell it as a base for a camper conversion? To a dealer wanting to make a profit, without selling you something newer, don’t expect much.

The most well known dealer for used trucks in London is probably Chris Hodge Commercials in Greenwich. They may not be interested in a vehicle that old but will almost certainly be able to advise you about who might be.
