I would like to ask you because I have redden somewhere that it is not legal to hire a self employed as a driver for couples of weeks?

Why would it not be legal ?
It’s legal to be self employed in most private sector work places from electricians, builders, window cleaners, mechanics, taxi drivers and HGV drivers etc etc etc.
No self employed drivers would be working if it wasn’t legal !

I did wonder if the OP is on about if he’s employed full time then takes on a few weeks as Self employed ie on agency …
in which case the answer is still the same YES
