Guy, Scammell or another company using a proprietary cab?

A bit of a ferret around the double ewes, suggests that the bumper bar is similar to Guy. Could the bumper have been supplied by Motor Panels, the cab builder?

The whole cab is similar to this Guy Invincible. The price tag of just under £6000 Australian pounds is interesting. That sum today would equate to over £100,000.00 sterling.

Which manufacturers used this cab, only Guy? It seems odd that no model is mentioned in the ad.
I’m not aware of any truck assembler by the name of HD.

The ad mentions a 12-sp pre-selector 'box 6sp plus auxilary). AEC 'box perhaps?

Definitely a GUY cab and newly released the year before, according to the date of the advert. Someone must have done a deal with GUY Motors to procure these cabs but the company did have many overseas outlets at this time also and because the financial position of GUY was worsening no doubt they would have been glad to do a deal on these cabs or other components to anyone interested. Franky.

The first thing I noticed about this unit is that there is no clutter in the windscreen, like flags, stickers or woolly dice; so the driver has a clear, uninterrupted view of the road ahead. That’s what I call a professional driver

A few months ago I visited the Salvador Dali Museum/Art Gallery.

But I can’t remember seeing that there?
