Seen it all now

M6 s/b around Stafford area 4 lane section, this afternoon a Transit van being pushed down lane 1 with traffic whizzing round him.
His mate steering the van.
Ffs…Park it up, hazards on and get to ■■■■ out of the way of it.
Pair of absolute knobheads. :unamused:
Was waiting for news report, two killed in a van. :unamused:

Pikies? Or would they have just dumped it and nicked another one.

Must be a Transit thing. Years ago in the days when headlights weren’t too clever my late brother running at night put his loaded Dodge 4 wheeler upside down on a village green. It was a quiet single carriageway A road, unlit, raining, he suddenly saw a dark shape looming in front, instinctively swerved onto the other side of the road, wheels off the right hand edge, over he went. He got out with just a bump on the head from the jack that was loose in the cab, helped out by a following car driver and the guys he’d just missed wiping out. Turned out he’d come across 4 blokes in dark clothes pushing a broken down navy blue transit with no lights on, band returning from a gig. One had been pushing and steering through the open driver’s door, the others at the back. They were all OK. The Dodge wasn’t, twisted the chassis, wrecked the cab, tore the sheet but the load of veg didn’t move and was OK, in fact the firm he was contracted to sent another lorry out, trans-shipped the load and carried on with it.

I’m amazed at how few anti-horse&harness videos there are out there…

This was the only “Negative” one I found about the entire subject…

Wot’s a “Cob” btw?

Wot’s a “Cob” btw?

A round loaf of bread.
An old coin.
The top part of a grain stalk.
A short legged but well built horse.
A contraction of cobber, an Australian term of endearment, mate.
An ancient, crude brick.
Take your pick.

But what if Winseer has only got a shovel?
We all know he`s always digging deeper into the mire.

Hopefully it’ll keep him occupied for a few days.

In US Navy parlance, the Chief of the Boat is called COB (may just be submarines). Only know as I had a VHS copy of Crimson Tide, the film with Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington starring.

I tend to wear my cap back to front  …but only because when I put my reading glasses on they dont fit under the peak. :unamused:
And not because I still think I’m in my 20s as the wife always says to me.

(Useless piece of info I just thought I’d share…so carry on. )
