Saw on another thread about a trucker getting robbed, and it got me thinking about the above.
If let’s say a truck driver had a court case and it was decided that drivers have to be put up in a travel lodge for the night, would your firm then pay for some kind of security for the wagon and any load?
If they would, it would cost far more than £25 night out money to provide a security guard for 9-11 hours.
So maybe it’s about time you lads who night out start asking for more night out money? Maybe go for the old ’ human rights ’ gig while we are still in Europe, or beat the ’ health and SAFETY ’ drum loudly?
Maybe the TNUK elders should retreat into the tepee and pass the pipe around, then report back to us their findings…

Effective, no doubt, unfortunately these are classed as ‘prohibited weapons’ and attract similar penalties to possession of a firearm, i.e jail time if caught with one.

I realise that and not advocating anyone going out and buying one for those very reasons but use one on an attacker and very doubt hes going to be running to the polizei in any hurry…
Andrew!! Don’t advertise them on here lol. Completely illegal in the UK.
Guy got 5 years in the clink last summer for just possessing one

Honestly, im not telling anyone to go out and buy one as you very rightly point out they are illegal, just saying they do the job…

I lived abroad for over two decades, yes they are very effective, but where I was they preferred the even more lethal option, and plenty of drivers carried them too…

Im guessing South Africa?
I know a driver who had some CS gas from a filling station in France ,he tested it on a loader who used to alter his mirrors ,it works well ,but the driver got rid when he learned it was illegal .

So…
You quit your job with the V8 tang motor then?
The job where you took a dodgy looking pic and then in a later post boasted about overtaking plobbers on motorways in it.
When the V8 is lit,
the work is done in one hit Much prefer to spend the nights cuddled up to Mrs B’s arse Andrew.
(I prop one of her buttocks up with a tent pole so it doesn’t smother me once I’ve nodded off ).

Yeah, doghouse for me if she ever read my ramblings pal.
I have a constant reoccurring nightmare that she is gonna ■■■■ on me one night and rupture my spleen
Reading the other thread about the robbery, what more could that driver have done in the circumstances?
Would anyone have done it differently? Just sit there and refuse to get out?
