Do you lot have one bolted to the cab floor under the bunk, handy for when having a shower and you do not have to take the sat nav, fuel cards, bank cards, truck papers, digital card, passport and so to the shower with you.
Use it at meal times or if out on a bike ride,a local garage could fit one in no time, and they can bought at any hardware shop.
no prsonally i leave everything of value on the dash for world to see and if i remember il leave doors and windows open for good measure .
And your point is?
why wud we tell the world the security measures we take
Good point there,i have known some lads that have too much to drink and left the cab doors unlocked all night or the windows down.
Depending on what your driving, but in most new trucks you can remove certain panels with ample hiding space. Next time your stopped by customs and their doing their routeen cab check, watch them!!! They know all the hiding places that thieves might not.
You are correct, when stopped in Europe for a “control”,they have all shapes and sizes of mini tool kits that hang from their gun pouches, and take the panels away, and the little hidey holes, they know them all.
like the guy at a customs stop who was driving a volvo fh customs asked him if he had tobacco he said no sure the officer said, step out the cab he took him to the front of and said i’m gonna ask you the question once more, but before you answer take a good look at your truck first, he looked yup he’d hid it behind the illuminated panel but not switched it off as you can, of course it was dark when he came off so it came on with his lights, all you could see was pouches of drum baccy lit up ha ha
we use them. Don’t put a mobile phone in there switched on though. the magnetism [zb]s up the fuel cards.

Haven’t heard that one in a while !
You may laugh, but buy a bum bag,so not to leave valueables in the cab,it is a bit 80`s fashion passe, but who cares when the passport and fuel card is stolen.
