Scunthorpe ------> Wrexham best truck stop

Ill be setting of shortly after 19.30 from scunthorpe with two hrs of driving time left headed toward Wrexham. Can anybody recommend a truck stop along this route that I can realistically reach before I run out of time and preferably not a MSA. All I need is a shower and maybe a bite to eat!! Postcode would also be an great help. I have an app but its not working properly. Thanks in advance

IIRC you need to go up the M66 to J2 following the signs. Tis a weight limit t’other way I think :confused:

No mate its the first junction off the M66 as you head north from the M62 , its junction 3 you need . Junction 2 is the next one up that has the limit .

Cheers for all replies, would have aimed for that but they’ve just told me the coils I’m waiting for are lost so I may run out of working hrs before I go anywhere! Looks like ind est and a tin of soup for me haha

you’ve got the big layby on the way back to the motorway or theres redbeck which is about an hour an fifteenish from there
