This 2800 heads towards London on the M4.

A common site in the 50s and 60s,an 8 wheeler flatbed…loads of tippers about but flats are a rarety nowadays.Hillmans 2500 is west bound on the M4.

Marc don’t you think Hillmans 8 legged DAF would look well with a drag on the back?? I sure do and would be first in the queue to grab the handlebars.

If you put a drag behind one of those 2500 Dafs it would be called an obstruction !!!
I had one once, you were still changing gears in the pub at night

Hi willie, the picture of the Freightliner brought back some nice memories for me, when I emigrated to Canada in late November 1991 this was the model of truck that I passed my test on , tho it had a much bigger sleeper than this one
